Multiple Primary Contacts per Opportunity
I think this is one feature GHL should revisit.
There was already an Ideas request for Multiple Contacts per Opportunity that received more than 870 upvotes and was eventually marked complete after the Additional Contacts feature was introduced.
The problem is that Additional Contacts don’t really function as part of the Opportunity in the same way the Primary Contact does.
And in a lot of businesses, there genuinely isn’t just one primary person.
In real estate, you could have two buyers purchasing a home together or two sellers who jointly own the property. In mortgage, you could have two borrowers on the same application. In other industries, you might have multiple decision-makers involved in the same deal.
In those situations, one person shouldn’t have to be treated as the “Primary Contact” while everyone else is simply “Additional.”
What I’d love to see is the ability to assign two or more Primary Contacts to a single Opportunity, with each of those contacts properly connected to the Opportunity and available throughout workflows, communications, documents, automations, activity, and other Opportunity-based functionality.
Looking through the comments on the original Ideas request, it seems like this is what a lot of users were expecting from the feature as well.
I’ve submitted a new request specifically for Multiple Primary Contacts per Opportunity.
If this would help your business or your clients, I’d really appreciate an upvote so we can get this back in front of the GHL team. 🙌
